Hotel Whistler Gare du Nord

"Absolutely excellent hotel! I can't say enough about it. The ambience is amazing - a true delight for those who love trains or would love to try them, especially in the golden age of train travel. Sleep was wonderful (medium-firm, soundproof, super clean, tons of pillows). Each of the rooms in our group was slightly different in theme but all reminiscent of train travel, even down to the valise on the wall reused as a desk and charging station. On the check-in we met a wonderful young woman whose name I can't remember unfortunately, and on check-out we had several questions for the amazing "Said" who was kind, helpful, and patient with our needs. There were also kind and helpful maintenance and cleaning staff throughout the hotel. It was spotless and so, so comfortable. The decor in the bathrooms was gorgeous! I can't say enough good about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone, especially close to Gare du Nord."

"Amazing stay at the hotel whistler Paris,staff were welcoming and friendly,stayed for 3 nights rooms are quirky with train themes running throughout the hotel ,we stayed in room 502 with balcony ,bed was really comfortable and even though we were a stones throw from the guard de Nord train station thanks to the soundproofing we did not hear a thing. Breakfast was really good wide selection to suit all.near all amenities,local metro near hotel which runs to all the amazing sites . I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future to explore more of the wonders of Paris ."

"We booked a last minute 24 hours in Paris to go to the David Hockney exhibition and wanted to stay by the Gare du Nord. The Whistler Hotel was a two minute walk from the station and super convenient for the metro and basic amenities. The welcome was warm, the room tiny (Paris!) but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was really nice and well appointed, excellent shower and lighting. And decent sized towels! The bed was comfortable with big fluffy pillows.It was a shame to see another reviewer moaning about the breakfast as we thought it was excellent. Lots of choice and a nice little dining area. We stored our bags and came back for a few moments before getting our train and there was iced lemon mint water available and a quiet spot to sit. Sweet little hotel."
