"wow what a welcome - we walked into this bright tiled look reception and were immediately offered a port each! the staff were friendly and eager to help. Of note every single staff member i interacted with were friendly, and treated us as old friends! happy to offer restaurant suggestions or just ask how we were doing!
Big shout out and kudos to Angelica - always a friendly conversation, happy and welcoming - a credit to the hotel!!
for a 4 night stay the rooms are fabulous - we were on a lower floor, but our windows opened onto a green space that filled the room with light - and great block out curtains!! spacious with enough room for multiple suitcases without tripping over.
the room comes with a fridge, complimentary water, tea and coffee and a kettle!! i do love my cup of tea in the morning!!
full length mirror, coat hangers (that you can actually use elsewhere in the room (none of those that detach so you can't hang anything up outside of the hanging space. )
individual air con - love this.
the bathroom is clean and fresh, walk in shower (my personal fave!! extra points if there's no bath) multiple amenities including comb, shower cap and cotton buds with wipes! hand wash and body lotion!
(i'm now starting to feel i'm at a first class hotel!)
the shower has fantastic water pressure & the towels are not only plush and i mean really plush and fluffy, but a full bath sheet size!!
Breakfast is a limited fare but still has all the main contenders - different flavors of yoghurts, fruit and cereal. fresh bread rolls and bread, pastries, cold cuts and cheese, hot food is bacon, scrambled eggs and mushrooms - so although a small buffet everything was fresh and delicious, and they make up breakfast boxes tailored to your likes.
and finally location!! it opens out on to the main restaurant, souvenir shopping strip! So easy to get everywhere. remember it's a hilly place and what goes down must come back up again!!
i would highly recommend this hotel - and if i'm ever back here i will definitely rebook!!
5 stars!!"
