Rocpool Reserve

"From working in all aspects hospitality i feel i can give an honest review. Firstly before i even stepped into the building i was quickly greeted to make sure i sighned and checked in. I did not travel far but for people who do, let them have a little breathing space and walk into the building when ready. We had a afternoon tea booked, there was no music to set the atmosphere. We felt extreamly uncomfortable and could not relax. In our room there was cob webs all around the ceilings and hairs in the bath. I just feel for the price they are charging it should be a clean welcoming stay. We planned to spend the whole evening in the hotel but the dinner menu was also poor which made us venture for food. I feel i have stayed in alot better places for no where near the price we paid for this stay. Then to be mistaken for our bill and want to charge us twice. I would not reccommed."

"What a beautiful hotel with little touches which make it extra special. Staff extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. Special mention to Ghambir Singh for being attentive. Also to the lady who served our breakfast on Sunday (apologies, didn’t get your name) as she gave us helpful information about places to visit etc. Our room was fabulous, thank you. We had a prosecco afternoon tea which was absolutely delicious, and our breakfast selection was varied, fresh and tasty. Thank you all for a really lovely stay. I would definitely recommend to others."

"We stayed in a hip room and it was spacious and beautiful. The hotel is well appointed and in a terrific location. Plenty of free parking at the front door. Lots of inclusions like chocolate bars, crisps, toiletries etc. The bar/restaurant is lovely, but staffing seems to be an issue. Occupancy was low when we were there so food and beverage was not well staffed. The selection was nice but I ordered a hamburger and received a ham and cheese toasty, no bother but there is some room for improvement. We would absolutely stay here again"
