Premier Inn Inverness East

"Having used premier inn frequently and recommended Premier inn to family, I was very disappointed with this Premier inn in particular. Carpet needed a good vacuum both in room and in corridors. The seal between bath and tiles was mouldy, I know this can't be helped at times but still not nice. The shower curtain had half the to hooks missing so didn't really do its job. Only one sachet of coffee and a couple milks, needed to go downstairs to get more. Staying here for 3 nights for a family wedding, and no house keeping, not very well advertised that we were required to request house keeping if we needed it, butt to have nothing not even bins emptied is a very poor service. The establishment attached to this particular Premier Inn is closing and can see why it is. Bar closed at 9pm not ideal ."

"Hotel was very noisy and tired. Very poor sound insulation between rooms. It also sits next to a busy road on one side and car park on the other. My room was illuminated by car headlights during the evening. However my biggest grievance is that the hotel could not provide me with an VAT receipt when I checked out. THIS BREAKS UK LAW. I had to come back to the hotel in the afternoon for it and she still couldn’t provide me one. She said she had spoken to her manager who would e-mail me one that afternoon but nothing arrived. I asked for a direct telephone number which I could call, which she provided. I called 53 times over the next couple of days but no one picked up. Eventually I called an international call centre, which took 20 mins, to get my receipt. The customer service was horrendous! I travel a lot with work and this was the worst stay and experience I have had in a long, long time."

"Check in was excellent. Second bed not made up, bedroom carpet not vacuumed. The food at breakfast on Sunday at 7:15am (service starts at 7am), was cold. The plates were cold."
