"When we arrived we were easily able to navigate the self check in. Ample parking and clear instructions about how to enter the building and find our room were provided. Our family room was comfortable and clean. The room was small but we expected this. It’s a nice walk into the city center, especially along the water. The bakery down the street and around the corner was great and there’s a Tesco close by. Our first day, our toilet stopped working. We emailed the owners and they were quick to have the plumber in and the problem was fixed by the afternoon. We really appreciated their prompt response to this issue. The only reason we’re giving a 4/5 is the noise. The building is old and the walls paper thin, which again is to be expected however I think a reminder to all guests to remain considerate of others and to keep noise to a minimum after 10pm/11pm is something the owners should consider. We had several nights of being kept awake well into the early hours only then to be awoken again at 6am by people leaving/checking out for the day."

"My wife and I stayed at the Aye Stay for three days in June of 2026, along with another couple. The Inn is very conveniently located and the proprietors couldn't have been more responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the room immensely and did a lot of walking into the city centre, as it's located nearby, along the River Ness. We also booked a day-long tour of the Black Isle through an agent which was very nice, to experience more of the local culture and life. Many nice places to eat (reservations recommended at many of the better ones) and lots of shopping for local wools and tartans. We would book again, for sure!!!"
