Ac Hotel By Marriott Inverness

"Our stay was fine. There was construction, the restaurant was overpriced ($14 for orange juice), and the front staff bros seemed irritated to assist. These are ALL things that I can overlook. I am not one to write reviews or complain. What I cannot overlook is registering our rental car, paying the daily rate, and then later having to fight both Parkingeye and Marriott to get an appeal. Or even an itemized statement showing that we registered and paid for parking. The 10-pound daily charge has now cost upwards of 150 pounds. I've had to pay Avis for receiving a parking ticket, wait for a paper showing what the charge was even for (I live in the USA, so it was a month before we even knew what the ticket was for), and then over a month of waiting for a response from Marriott. I'm not sure if this was an honest mistake or some elaborate way to get money out of tourists, but both Reddit and FB have posts of others having the same issues."

"The hotel was easy to find a short walk from the train and bus station. It was clean and welcoming. The staff was eager to help and friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is close to all pubs and shops and sites so all was walkable. We had a nice view of the river."

"Modern hotel set along the River Ness. We spent 3 days playing golf in the area and enjoyed returning to the hotel. The hotel provides a relaxing atmosphere, welcoming and helpful staff, impressive cleanliness and easy access to town. Wonderful rainfall shower in bathroom. Hot Breakfast served each morning and cocktail lounge at the end of day. Highly recommend."
