"Great holiday for being close to the centre and not far away for concerts etc. Don’t usually go for a premier plus room but we felt it was worth while this time (rooms on top floor too)"

"For a first time visit to Scotland, Premier Inn was perfect for us. Clean and comfortable room, convenient location, and helpful staff. This Premier Inn on Ballater has a Coop around the corner for snacks and a local sim card, and a great late night pizza place (Bravo) and convenient bus stop (Citizens Theatre) one block over. Would definitely stay here again."

"The whole brand is going downhill so fast. A £15 charge to check-in just 25 minutes early (the room had been ready for an hour), the beds are no longer as comfy (and no longer come with "a good night's sleep guaranteed", I notice), the dining room had a covering of dust you could write your name in and stained seats, and the 'full' breakfast was lukewarm. The 'continental' breakfast had no ham, cheese or even muesli - just a few pastries and yoghurt. This was probably our 10th or 11th stay here - and will be our last. It's also under-staffed, and since we've been going, the car park charge has risen from £5, to £6 to £8 to £10. Not good at all."
