Imperial Salford Hotel

"Please, save your money and pay the extra £10-20 elsewhere for your own safety. This place is a well known flop house for the local neer-do-wells, homeless, displaced and (unsurprisingly) now taking the kings shilling to house people whose british adventure began in calais (im sure you know what i mean)? Omnipresent drug use, hordes of undesirables in and out all hours and ganging around outdoors make it an absolute no-no for ladies or those travelling with children. Room was pitiful, i took 5 mins to walk away and book in elsewhere, and top tip....dont waste your time entertaining thoughts of a refund etc, the owners/management have a firm policy of 'like it or lump it'. Absolute disgrace that sites entertain this place (and its sister sites up the road) and they too should be ashamed of themselves, imperilling people and abandoning them once it goes wrong. In short, dont be kidded by pictures and description of being ideal for football grounds etc, whilst it may be good geographically the actual product is rancid. It takes a certain type of charlatan to run these fleapits but theyre alive and well within this group."

"AVOID AT ALL COST !!! after booking this hotel for my son's 13th birthday celebration on Saturday 2nd august, it turned into a unsafe experience, I was travelling with my son and friend and booked a family room here, when we arrived I was shocked at the state of the hotel grounds, doors smashed, gangs of people sitting around in the car park and the smell of drugs was disgusting, when we checked in we was told there was no family rooms available (even tho we booked one 2/3 weeks ago )and offered us two separate rooms, at the time we was in shock at the state of what we was staying at and just said yes but after our return later to the hotel it was even worse with lads with hoods up standing outside the hotel, hanging out the hotel windows speaking to the other lads on the car park, the smell of drugs was even worse to, we are 2 girls and a 13 year old child in the middle of all this, we went up to our rooms and we all felt so scared and unsafe that we couldn't even stay there and had to book another hotel, we left the hotel at 10pm, as it was loud and could here them all arguing outside, we spoke to the manger before we left and he said he was aware of this and the police have been called a fair few times, AFTER ASKING THE HOTEL FOR A REFUND THEY HAVE REFUSED, the site we booked it through have tried to get us the refund back but again they have REFUSED, This hotel is used for homeless people and shouldn't be sold to the public!!! Rooms - TV not working, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, toilet seat wobbly, beds rock hard, windows absolutely filthy. Worst experience ever"

"No star! Worst hotel I've ever visited like a hostel, druggies on the doorstep, room stunk of drugs from the next doors room, no basics: no working tv, no tea bags, dirty towels and bedding full of someone elses makeup, shower hot and cold, mould and damp, electrical sockets did not work. Only one card for the room. And there was a large intimidating riot outside 40+ teenagers very disturbing, it was red hot and we could not have windows open due to drugs constantly being smoked by others underneath us from the ground outside. Not worth the £80 per night. Will never stay here again."
