Hyatt Regency Manchester

"I’ve stayed here a few times in the last few months when I’ve been away with work. It’s a great place to stay. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, and I always feel very safe here when travelling alone for work. What really stands out for me though is the level of service and care for the guests. I haven’t met a single member of the team who hasn’t been incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was particularly apparent when I arrived for my most recent stay, fairly late in the evening and realised that I’d left my phone in the back of the black cab that I’d arrived in. Like all of us, everything is on my phone and I was stressed and worried that I’d lost it whilst away on my own. Sabine, Enrique and George were brilliant. They looked up phone numbers and on the cctv to see if we could find the taxi, let me use the reception phone to call home and let them know I was ok, they helped me to track my phone, and they even brought me a bottle of water and a box of tissues because I was upset. Thankfully, I managed to get my phone back and I’m so grateful for all their care and help. I checked out this morning, but because of train problems, I ended up coming back tonight because I couldn’t get home. The gentleman who checked me back in (unfortunately I don’t know his name) was very kind and gave me an upgrade as a gesture of goodwill, which I was quite touched by. The food here is also very good. There is an excellent selection at breakfast, I’ve had room service and tonight I had dinner in the restaurant and that was excellent too. Andreia looked after me and she also gave amazing service. This will now always be my first choice when staying in Manchester and I’d highly recommend it."
