"Where do I start this is a small hotel in the IHG group but is Faultless! From the moment you arrive the reception staff are so lovely Donna and the lovely lady the Food & Beverage manager care so much and go out their way to make you feel so welcome! Also the restaurant staff at Breakfast they are so courteous and helpful ! Nothing is too much for you ! Also A mention to Victoria on Reception she is a Gem ! Communication is great and asks if u need anything or giving great advice ! She truly deserves to be promoted or Rewarded for her great guest skills like Donna too. Also Ellis the night manager so caring despite that he doesn't understand you much he goes out the way! Also a mention to the lovely housekeeping staff Nothing is too much trouble if u need a clean towel or anything they are never miserable or sad despite the hard work they do ! ❤️ I have stayed in many Holiday inns Crowne Plazas and Expresses This is the best one that cares and respects you has a guest! This is Now my favorite place!! ❤️"

"I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Manchester West and felt compelled to leave a review because the experience was genuinely exceptional from start to finish. What stood out most was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Chantel on reception gave such a friendly and welcoming check-in that it immediately set the tone for the stay. Olivia in the bar and restaurant was equally wonderful — attentive, approachable and nothing was ever too much trouble. Lilly at breakfast was another absolute credit to the hotel, making the morning feel relaxed and enjoyable. What made this stay so special was that it never felt like you were “just staying in a hotel.” There was such a natural warmth from everyone that you genuinely felt comfortable and cared for throughout your visit, almost like being at home rather than away from it. The food also deserves a special mention. I am extremely fussy when it comes to poached eggs, yet the Eggs Benedict at breakfast was absolutely perfect — beautifully cooked and one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The evening meal was equally impressive and, without exaggeration, was by far the best food I have had in any IHG hotel for a very long time. A huge thank you to the whole team for making the stay such a memorable one. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manchester."

"Perfectly located hotel for the Manchester Marathon which was about a 40 minute walk away - equally the same for a visit to Old Trafford. Bus stop for the city centre is a short walk away. Free car park which is always great! Breakfast was great much better than other chain hotels. Rooms were nice, parts of them had been redone reasonably recently. The best part of the hotel is the customer service. Reception very polite and friendly. Breakfast staff again the same. The lady who greeted us both mornings always looked happy. Staff seemed to enjoy jobs - which makes a huge difference to the customers! Happily stay here again!"
