Holiday Inn Express Stockport

"We travelled from London to Stockport to visit the Peak District. The rooms are well-maintained and clean. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. We were able to order food in the evening, and the dinner was well presented and prepared; we didn't have to wait long for the food. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and the three days went quickly. We were well looked after by Caissy, Joey and Autumn. We strongly recommend this hotel. There's a Sainsbury's shop 2 minutes from the hotel and a railway station nearby as well, and plenty of parking spaces at a reasonable price. If I have to go to Manchester again, I will surely stay in this hotel. Noel Lakshman"

"Stay here often as the location is great, I know its hot in the rooms opposite the station, the air conditioning doesn’t work. I always ask for a room at the back as they are cooler. Arrived, no room at the back, told that I should have emailed to ask for one, I had done and received a reply to say noted on the system but it wasn’t apparently. Stuck in a boiling hot room, given a fan, had to try to sleep with the door to the corridor open. Resorted to hanging around reception as it was cool. Second time in a year this has happened Going to find somewhere else to stay next time in the Summer. Completely unacceptable temperatures."
