"Hotel was a mess, has rebranded to Aloft by Marriott. I booked via Marriott, they were having an IT meltdown and all manual check in and left not being able to even get an invoice for my stay. I was given an accessible room I didn’t book, it had unfinished exposed copper pipe work in the bathroom and still stickers from the new build on some of the door frames. There was no brand toiletries but some cheap unbranded miniatures you got in hotels in the 80’s. I wouldn’t return here, it’s new and in a good location but it’s definitely not an Aloft. Not yet anyway. Travelodge would have been better for this stay. I’ve complained to Marriott directly, it shouldn’t be open for Marriott customers to book yet."

"I had a reservation from 06/06 - 07/06, room 1904 at hotel 325 Deansgate. During the morning of 07/06 at approximately 9:45am a male staff member attempted to enter my room. I occupied the room alone. This was extremely disturbing as a lone female to wake to a male trying to enter my room for no reason at all. Had I not of had the door latch out, only god knows what would have happened. I reported this to a member of staff upon check out as well as following up with a call the following day. I have not been informed on the action to be taken. This is upsetting as I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel until my privacy was imposed upon."

"We stayed at this hotel to attend a Take That concert in the Ethiad. The location is great as it’s right next to the Metro. Staff were welcoming on arrival but there was a pong in reception, not sure if it was the drains. Our room was lovely, brilliant view as we were on a higher floor and one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever stayed in. The shower was brilliant too, very powerful. The fridge was warm so they need to sort that out and they could do with more shower gel and a toilet brush. We would absolutely stay here again but unfortunately breakfast was an absolute shambles. They clearly need more staff. There was no-one to greet us when we arrived and most tables weren’t cleared and there were piles of plates and cups everywhere and no cutlery on the odd empty table. The food isn’t replenished quickly enough and so there was a lot of waiting around. Orange juice was completely tasteless and needs improvement. Cooked breakfast was ok but I would’ve liked a fried egg. Spoiled the experience a little"
