Maple Hotel

"I was unsure of whether to write a review or not. The reason being is because the place is in serious need of renovations, should not be open to the public. However the lady at reception, Amanda was a gem. She did the extra mile for me: booking places, changing rooms if needed and being just lovely. But I cannot recommend anyone to stay here :-("

"Its basic, no carpets, in need of a bit of TLC. However, the beds are comfy & shower powerful. TV in room too but its not a place to relax in too much. We were greeted on our return with a bottle of water & its help yourself tea & coffee from reception in the morning."

"If people pay 20 quid, then fair enough I suppose, but I was done 60 quid through Expedia. Not the hotel's fault, but locking us out at 11.30pm and waiting ages to get someone to answer the door was. Quite noisy as the whole place is tiled (where the vinyl isn't coming up)....but there is probably a good reason for that if you google what happened a few years ago ! Not the best, but if this is 29th out of 70 odd in Liverpol, I'd dread to think what the bottom 30 must be like."
