Holiday Inn Express Liverpool Central - An IHG Hotel

"The hotel is well located being less than a 20-minute walk from Lime Street Station and less than a 10-minute walk down Duke Street bringing you to the start of the main tourist areas of Liverpool. Check in was simple and fast. The room, No:216, was small and overlooked another hotel, but then we never spend long in the room. The KS bed was comfortable, amenities included a small sofa, chairs and table a TV, tea and coffee making. There was a good shower and toiletries were provided in the bathroom as well as a hairdryer. Breakfast was included in the room price which consisted of self service cereal, juice, pastries and a full cooked option. The cooked options of bacon, sausage, beans and hash browns were replenished non stop. The only odd thing was the scrambled egg which was the only egg option and its texture was very odd almost as if it was powdered egg? There was a small bar which on the weekend we spent had very little stock and it was also pricey."

"We had a wonderful two night stay at this hotel.the staff are very professional friendly and attentive. Our bedroom room was lovely with nice big comfy bed air conditioning large tv tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very modern great shower with plenty of hot water .Good supply of towels of great quality. Sleep quality was very good with very little noise .breakfast in the restaurant was very good and plentiful. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean .a great base to explore from the very vibrant city center liverpool .we would recommend this hotel"
