Crowne Plaza Liverpool John Lennon Airport

"Booked this hotel as it was close by to a wedding we were attending on the day. Email confirmation said check in was 2pm. Had to be at the wedding for 3pm but had an hour which was enough time to get ready. Only the mam on reception said check in wasn't until 3pm. Didn't want to see the email just said it was wrong. Ended up rushing to get ready in time. The room was absolutely boiling so didn't sleep a wink either! Awful experience with this hotel! The only saving grace was the lovely woman in the bar area."

"Worst Crowne Plaza ever. Do yourself a favour and avoid staying at this dump. Scruffy rooms, broken air conditioning (we were given a small, loud, barely working fan as a replacement which did nothing in the scorching rooms), a leaking roof with mop buckets all through the corridors, rubbish bags also left in corridor, a foul smell in the lift and the TV even stopped working. The staff were friendly enough and the food was adequate but that is about it. For the money it cost, this place is a rip off. If you're visiting Liverpool, do yourself a favour and swerve this place."

"We flew on holiday from John Lennon airport and this hotel was situated close enough for a short taxi ride to the airport. Plenty of parking spaces available in the huge carpark. There are quite a few old preserved aircraft dotted around the car park which was a good way of passing a good few minutes wandering around them. Very well appointed room, and en suite bathroom If we ever fly from Liverpool airport again will certainly consider the Crowne Plaza"
