"Really poor hotel, we stayed on Friday -Saturday, a family of 4, we got to our room with just a fan on during a heatwave, no air con! The beds were made nicely. However there was a used towel on the back of the toilet door from the previous guests. After the hottest night sleep ever, we woke up to spend a day in Bristol until our 6pm train, to be told, they don’t hold luggage of customers leaving, only for incoming customers. I’ve never heard anything like it! As frequent travellers, all hotels we’ve stayed at have allowed us to leave our luggage to explore the place before going back to get our luggage. After paying £165 for the night, we had to pay an additional £40 to store our luggage for the day using a luggage locker."

"It seems that recent refurbishment has done much to raise the standard to acceptable. I found lovely unfailingly helpful staff. The room, housekeeping and linen were well up to standard for this level of hotel. The location is well placed. However, negatives include dreadful noise levels at the front. Air conditioning is lacking in a heat wave (Both points are probably unrealistic to address at this market level). This said, the prices are not really budget. Breakfast food was excellent but the space insufficient. I found incidental other food and beverages very expensive. Overall, for me I found the hotel very comfortable and well up to standard for my purpose; the staff being a major asset."

"I would like at first to thank the Manager, Marie,Clare,Frances,Tina and Mohammed for the Excellent service. With my family we had a lovely stay the room was spotlessly clean and the breakfast buffet was topped up every time it needed it. Everyone off all the member of staff were busy helping the the Guests to have a perfect stay. Thank you again all again hope to see all again soon"
