"Great check in process with friendly staff, we arrived at noon but rooms were already available and we were able to gain access - though we had requested one be set up as a twin, and it was still double - not the end of the world and we decided not important enough for us to wait some time for room to be re-made VERY tight to get into adjoining car park, narrow access and not to attempted with larger vehicles. We very much appreciated that we were able to park on the same floor as our room and just wheel our bags a short distance Location of the hotel is great for waterfront and city centre access, pleasant bar and lounge areas (discount card given to us for having booked directly with the hotel, also received a gift of a branded chocolate bar in the room later in the day) Breakfast was VERY chaotic, it didn't seem to have occurred to them that many people staying in a hotel on Saturday night/Sunday morning want a late breakfast and the small (but beautiful) conservatory space just wasn't big enough. We had a fairly lengthy wait for a table meaning we had to rush our breakfast to get on with our plans for the day. Gluten free items available on request but the chaos meant we had a very long wait for our toast and had to remind staff"

"Fantastic location, walkable to most of what you need. The reception is lovely, nice and clean and some nice comfy areas to sit. The bedrooms are underwhelming and rather small, but fine for what is needed. No fridge in the room which would have been helpful. The bathroom is very compact, with a shower over a bath. It was fine for what we needed for a 2 night city break."

"An ideal hotel to explore Bristol m. Located at the historical floating harbour with stunning views. Service is outstandingly good and clean throughout. Having its car park next door is particularly useful. All in all a lively central hotel"
