"The beds are tiny (80cm) and the service is awful. The alarm went off at 5:00 am and nobody cared not gave any information. Bristol has a good range of hotels all around: just don't go here."

"This is such a basic hotel. It was very very underwhelming. The noise from other rooms kept us all most of the night. You could hear chairs move, others have showers etc. There were some small stains on duvet cover and rooms were bland. TV was lobsided with poor quality sound. There was a carrier bag in the bathroom toilet as a liner. Rooms generally clean but will not stay again. Staff at reception not very friendly. Close to temple meads but it's the only positive."

"Great location, great reception staff but let down by lazy housekeeping , my room upon arrival had some kind of suspicious grime on the side of the sink , it looked like possibly vomit or something worse , I really dread to think...also , the tea and coffee station had dried milk splatters all over it and I was left with wooden spoons that were obviously used by previous guests as they were dirty and smelt of coffee. The cleanliness side of things was very disappointing. I did sleep well there though and was adequately cool enough with the fans provided during the hot weather. Also I definitely wouldn't eat breakfast here again it wasn't very nice , The decaf coffee was good though. There's much nicer places close by the station for a better breakfast."
