ibis Bristol Centre Hotel

"The location is great and pretty central to the places we wanted to visit. Staff are friendly and polite. Upon arriving to our room, it looked what you'd expect from a budget hotel. Small, minimal, fine. That evening I decided to have a shower and was horrified. I stepped in after turning the water on and the base of the shower was slimy underfoot, I looked down and realised it hadn't been cleaned. There was lots of public hairs on the base and tiles, dirt and a blocked plug full of hairs. Disgusting. There were no hand towels which is odd. In the main room, there was lots of dust and debris in the corners of the room. The breakfast area is less than acceptable. Some foods were uncovered. Sausages and pastries with feasting flies, shrivelled fruit that should be binned and the hot food was barely luke warm which is concerning where meat is involved. I had a coffee and a slice of toast as most of the food had health hazard written all over it. I would definitely NOT return here."

"We as a family of three stayed at the Ibis hotel.Two in a twin room and one in a double. Whereas my daughter slept in back of the hotel and had a good nights sleep with no issues ,my grandson and I in the twin room had an horrendous night.The room was overlooking the main strip of restaurants that were open to 3am.After closing our window because of the awful noise we resorted to the air con .It was so inadequate and noisy we had to turn it off.The beds were hard and uncomfortable,We had one pillow PAD each that gave no support what so ever.The room was hot and stuffy.Neither of us slept.In the bathroom there were no hand towels 'the bin in the bedroom still had the remains of the last people in the rooms takeaway.Just three coat hangers in the so called wardrobe.The lights were so bright we left them off with no chance of a dimmer switch.Breakfast was adequate if you like leathery bacon and cremated sausages.The whole experience was a joke.I would never stay in this hotel again"

"Well located hotel, friendly staff, but stay was somewhat spoiled by the poor Parking advice given at the reception. The QR code to access the hotel’s discount arrangement was not working. When you arrived after several hours driving - all you want is clear and proper parking info on arrival."
