"We stayed for two nights in August and booked an accessible room. Sadly the decor was very dated with dodgy curtains and carpets etc. The room looked very different to photos we had seen online. We complained about this and a few other things, and the duty manager gave us a partial refund on what we had payed for our stay. We would have loved the pool to have a hoist so my wheelchair user boyfriend could have used the spa pool too. Maybe a note for improvement? I agree that the sauna wasn’t very hot. We had dinner one night in the Curious Restaurant which was tasty and we enjoyed it. The second night we ended up ordering a takeaway to the hotel and the bar staff kindly gave us plates and cutlery to use. We were woken up in the night and early in the morning by children in other rooms and room doors slamming, they don’t have soft closes on and they have to be shut loudly to actually close, which was a shame! Overall the stay was ok but feels like more investment has been made on the restaurant and spa than the actual hotel rooms. We probably wouldn’t stay here again."

"Had a lovely stay from start to finish. Check in was very easy and the staff were able to answer all of our questions. The room was fantastic and had all that we needed. Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Air con worked really well. Spa facilities were great, had access to pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. It was really good to have use of the spa after dinner, especially as it was adults only and was lovely and peaceful. Food was gorgeous and plentiful. We had an offer, so had a budget of £30 each to use on food. Breakfast buffet had everything that you needed. All staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others."

"First impressions weren’t great. We arrived 30m before check in and were refused entry because we hadn’t bought early check in. The lady at reception was quite rude and sarcastic about this. The room was good with a large bed & sofa space. You can request a change of pillows which was cool, though it felt like a lot of effort! Concerningly there were crumbs in one of the cupboards. The bed was quite uncomfortable and the air con was so weak it barely made a scratch on the 25 degree heat. We enjoyed the toiletry items and access to a coffee machine. The sauna / spa area was also mixed. It was very busy. The pool was smaller than the pictures made it out to be. The sauna was barely hot. The jacuzzi wasn’t working. Others in the sauna were complaining and wanting to request a refund. We did like getting fresh towels and the changing rooms had lots of space for changing & hair drying."
