"I have to say how impressed I was with the hotel and the staff there. Although booking.com messed up the booking, causing confusion on both sides, the hotel staff were able to resolve it swiftly and efficiently and even gave us free drinks as compensation. It is expensive though, but worth a treat."

"This is a large hotel - right next door to the Grand and within 10mins walk from The Lanes and 15min from the pier. Facilities are pretty good for a Double Tree; rooms looks to have been recently refurbished; breakfast serving the usual Hilton selection and overall, service was great from the team considering it's a busy place. Overall, we loved our night's stay; more so as we were upgraded to a high-floor sea view which is must really (considering where you are). As it was a Fri night, that was probably more likely as a Diamond member than a Sat, so worth checking a few days before you arrive if you have been lucky (as an honors member), or if you aren't, I'd suggest paying the extra."

"I've stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole many times for business, and it never disappoints. The location is perfect, right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of everything Brighton has to offer. This visit was made even more special by the wonderful team. They noticed from my booking that it had been my birthday the previous week and very kindly surprised me with a complimentary room upgrade. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made me feel genuinely valued as a returning guest. The upgraded room had stunning sea views, and waking up overlooking the coastline was a real treat. The buffet breakfast is always excellent, with a great selection of hot and cold options and something to suit everyone's tastes. What really sets this hotel apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team is warm, friendly and welcoming, and nothing ever seems to be too much trouble. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality are the reason I continue to return whenever I'm in Brighton. A fantastic hotel in a superb location, with outstanding customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and I'm already looking forward to my next stay."
