Avoid at all costs! Worst stay ever, danger ⚡
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS !! Absolutely vile, neglected, and dirty property. It feels completely unmanaged—another guest staying for a couple of nights mentioned he had no light the entire time either and no one cared, calling it a "dark hotel." He noted the owners aren't even based in the UK, which explains the total lack of real support. Serious Security Hazard: Broken/Bizarre Lock System: The entry system was a complete joke and a massive safety hazard. There was a 4-digit combination lock with the key on a metal wire, but even if you scrambled the numbers, the lock could still be opened anyway! Anyone off the street could have accessed the key and entered the building. Completely unsafe. Cleanliness & Health Hazards: Dust & Air Quality: The place was filthy, old, and dusty. Once we entered the room and turned on the old fan, it blew dust all over us right after we arrived hot and sweaty. Dust was stuck all over my face, body, and the bed, and thick dust covered the ceiling lights. Bedding & Carpets: Found long black hair on the bedding (I have red hair). The carpets were nasty, full of sand and dirt. Window sills were dirty and never cleaned. Fixtures & Amenities: The TV on the wall did not work. The built-in mini fridge was dirty, plus an extra random fridge was sitting on the floor, taking up space in a tiny room with no storage. Furniture was old and broken. Windows were dirty and impossible to close once opened. Bathroom & Hygiene Issues: Pitch Black Bathroom: The shower room had no working light at all. There was a notice threatening a fine if steam set off the fire alarm, requiring the door to stay shut. How are you supposed to use a pitch-black bathroom with the door closed? We had to use our phone flashlights. Lack of Basic Supplies: Not even toilet paper was provided! They gave only one small towel per person, with no bath mat for the floor after using the tiny, dirty shower (if you're even brave enough to use it). Check-in & Lack of Support: Upselling & Fees: Late check-in (4:00 PM) and early check-out (10:00 AM). The online check-in system repeatedly spammed us to pay extra money to extend these times. No Contact Number: No phone number is provided to reach anyone—you can only use a chat function, leaving guests completely stranded when major issues arise."
DO NOT STAY HERE!
"This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The black walls everywhere, the rooms were not as the pictures show and there was a hidden charge of a non refundable deposit. Which I paid as I didn't have a choice but then didn't receive the code to get in. There was a lot of banging coming from the room next door all evening and then sounds of a drunk person being sick in the middle of the night. DO NOT STAY HERE!"
Horrible hostel
"This place is nothing but a hostel its certainly not a hotel warning warning if you are planning a nice rest then don't even think about booking this hostel people coming and going up and down the bloody stairs doors banging this goes on all day till about 2 o'clock in the morning. Now let's talk about the hostel because that's now what I am calling it. Don't expect someone greeting you at reception because they don't have one. Let me explain how it works when you arrive at the hostel front door the first thing you see is a QR code on the door once you scan the code bingo your now going to have to wait for your code to get into the first door. This is done by WhatsApp and you bloody well best get used to this because this is the only way of communication and they don't like talking to you basically then when you have received your codes when you get into front door and find your room number you are then greeted by a stupid key safe bolted on you bedroom door and now the best part you are going to need a torch and a pair of glasses to see the numbers because it dark and dingy the once you get the key safe open don't expect to be removing the key 🤬🤬for your room because it's on a long metal wire and key doesn't come off. Now let's talk about the stupid key safes they are sticking on the bedroom doors basically they are by no means Safe because you can't remove the key so if you decide to pop out you could find out that when you get back that anything valuable could have gone missing . Take it from me stupid key safes are so easy to get into if you know what your doing. In my opinion this hostel needs one big refurbishment. And shut it down until it's finished the owner should be bloody ashamed of himself discussing behaviour because he won't talk to people if you have a problem all he does is ignore your WhatsApp messages. The best thing you can do with this place is shut it down stop ripping off then sell it to somebody who can run it properly as a hotel not a hostel. My advice is please please don't stay at this hostel."
