Amsterdam

"I recently stayed for two nights in the Boutique Double Room with Balcony. The room itself was nice enough, comfortable, & perfectly fine for a two-night stay. However, the balcony was a massive disappointment. The floor of the balcony is made of what I can only describe as rough asphalt, & the only furniture provided was two cheap plastic garden chairs. Worse still, the balcony may as well have been a huge ashtray. It seems that guests staying in the rooms above, who don't have balconies simply throw their cigarette butts out of their windows, leaving them to land right on the terrace. It completely ruined what should have been a premium feature of the room."

"Room was nice and clean except for the shower room. CLEAN THE SHOWER DRAIN! It would have been nice to be able to open both windows, one was broken. Staff was very nice and accommodating when asking for extra towels. The Birdcage, that I assume used to be the hotel restaurant had good food and a friendly atmosphere. I would stay here again, nice room and location was prime."

"Do not go to this hotel rooms are not as advertised Do not respond direct to complaints about room standards of cleanliness room quality but can fit a double bed in the size of a room for a single apartment from that do not accept upgrades and pay for even more crap"
