Little more than a 15-minute walk from Ibiza Town, Talamanca holidays offer a brilliant beach retreat with classic rest and relaxation, while still being within easy reach of the island’s biggest parties. Being so close to town, the resort is well served with upmarket boutiques and restaurants, so you can also indulge in some great food and retail therapy on your doorstep. The beach is an exceptional stretch of soft white sand with clear turquoise waters, and while it’s very popular locally, it’s also large enough that you shouldn’t feel too crowded.

A wooden promenade makes it popular for an early-morning jog (perhaps followed by a dive into the sea from the rocky Sa Punta headland), and it’s dotted with beach bars and restaurants for when you want to refuel or get the party started while still on the sands. Look out for the local fish shacks as well – just-caught fish and seafood is a must on holidays to Talamanca, where it’s cooked over hot coals and served with simple salads for a fresh, affordable treat.
