"What can I say, this hotel it’s up a slight hill 5mins from the main strip…. is lovely the rooms are a bit tired but clean, walls are paper thin so you can hear people talking and moving around in their room. staff are lovely and helpful. We only used the pool once but noticed there was always a free bed and somewhere to sunbathe, no towels on beds in the morning which was good. The sunroof bar wasn’t open but it was a great sun catch up there with about 10 beds and 2 jacuzzi’s. Tried the hotel food - breakfast €10 could have been better, food warm but lots of choice, better across the road. snack bar was good value, drinks typical of a hotel. Overall nice hotel need money spending on it to get it looking better, they have a garage which is €20 a day but it is a skill to park in it….. no Large car would fit so try before you pay for it. There is on- street parking which you pay for from an app, lots of wardens around so be careful."

"I stayed here for five nights with two friends for a girls’ trip and, unfortunately, we wouldn’t return. There were quite a few issues with our room. The toilet wasn’t securely fixed to the wall and would bang every time you got on or off it, and there was a really unpleasant, eggy smell coming from the drains. Especially when returning to the room from being out for the day and the room had been cleaned. There was also nowhere to sit and get ready. It looked as though there should have been a dressing table with a light and mirror, but there was no stool or mirror, so we had to bring a patio chair into the room. We also had a late flight home, so after spending the day at the beach, we needed somewhere to shower and get changed. Unfortunately, the hotel has no proper changing or shower facilities. We had to shower and wash our hair using the pool shower in front of other guests, and then use the downstairs toilets to get ready. This was far from ideal. The pool was absolutely freezing and, honestly, very disappointing. We only bought one drink from the pool bar which was supposed to be a slush, but it hadn’t even frozen properly. We didn't choose to eat or drink at the hotel as it didn't seem advertising. We did pay €10 one morning for the buffet breakfast however, should have just gone out locally as the food was underwhelming to say the least and we would have paid less. The rooftop was equally disappointing. The hot tubs were freezing cold and very small, with realistically only two people able to use them comfortably. There was also very little atmosphere throughout the hotel, and the bars weren’t open in the evenings. We were there during the airshow, which was fantastic, and the rooftop could have been a brilliant place to watch it. Unfortunately, the hotel didn’t seem to make much effort to make the most of it. There were no chairs put out for guests, the bar only served a very limited selection of drinks, and we were being asked to leave before the show had even finished. The rooftop was also poorly lit, and one lady fell on the hot tub steps in the dark and hit her head on the floor. On the positive side, the location is good. There’s a much nicer, smaller beach if you turn right outside the hotel and then left, which we preferred to the main beach and the hotel pool. It was also reasonably close to Reus Airport, with a taxi costing around €35. As someone with coeliac disease, I also found the food options quite limited in Salou. I used the Find Me Gluten Free app and found two nearby places that were good for gluten-free food: Uncle Sam’s and Orient Express. Overall, although the location is good, we found the hotel disappointing. The room issues, lack of changing facilities, freezing pool and hot tubs, lack of atmosphere and poor rooftop experience really let it down. I definitely wouldn’t return, and personally, I wouldn’t choose this hotel for a holiday with children."

"Nice clean hotel, room cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding. Too much noise from other rooms, people smoking weed on balcony, first time reported nothing done, second time staff had a ward. Room facilities very basic, not even a kettle in the room so you can't make a hot drink, yes you can go to local cafes but you can't have a tea or coffee while relaxing in the room or when you get up in the morning, no cups or glasses provided in room for drinks either."
