"The hotel is located in close proximity to city centre. There’s plenty of shops, restaurants, pharmacy, atm just around the hotel.
Check In was quick and easy, thank you (Magarita) for an early check in at 12:30 as the standard check in time is 3pm. It would be nice to feel welcomed being a Best Western member.
Nicholas at the concierge was friendly and helpful with the hotel basic information.
Thanks to Rosalia for an impeccable service on cleaning the room on arrival, tough I didn’t request service for the 3 nights stay
The bed is super comfy (slept like a baby). The room / bathroom as all amenities that a 4 star hotel would provide (bathrobes, slippers, bath amenities, tea / cafe machine, mini fridge , Comcast TV, safety box, wardrobe etc).
Very disappointed with the breakfast, there is variety of options to chose from however the buffet dishes is always cold (even the hot food was not up-to the mark) those not including breakfast in your room rate, breakfast is 17.50 per person, my recommendation use your money elsewhere as there are good local restaurants serving breakfast. The coffee from the machine is awful and abysmal. I did mention my feedback to the manager in the restaurant but he didn’t take it well only to see him grin.
On my 2nd night of the stay, I had a knock on the door only to realise it was the bellhop but he had the wrong room (that’s fine mistakes happen) but the issue is ROOM SECURITY as the room door doesn’t have a peephole to see who is at the door.
My room faced the street (front facing) which was great some light sleepers might find it very difficult to get some sleep after touring the city (something to keep in mind).
The hotel has renovations work going on inside the building from 9am till about 5/530 pm so be mindful if you are stay in at the hotel during the works as it can be dreadful with the work and sounds, THERE WAS NO MENTION OF THE WORKS ON THE HOTEL WEBSITE.
I would recommend the hotel, but the breakfast experience was not worth it. Staff were great !!"
