"Two good things to say: staff is super kind. Specially Joshua and the lady that cleans the 5th floor. Also location is very convenient Other than that we could not find the supposed 4 stars anywhere!!! Oh except on the price The rooms had no furniture except a the beds, the shower was a disaster (leaked all over) there were roaches in the stairs, the WiFi signal was terrible (non existent, most of the time) TV had only shopping channel, the elevator broke half the time for our floor, only 2 uncomfortable pillows per bed, 2 hangers (although the above mentioned lady provided more after requesting) zero decoration rooms feel like a shoe box, noisy, overall dirty and don’t even get me started on the AC which did not work appropriately."

"Hotel Aurum Firenze needs to be REMOVED and SHUTDOWN - I chose Aurum Firenze based on its high ratings, but my experience was extremely disappointing. On our first night, sewage backed up through the shower drain, creating an unsanitary and unacceptable situation. A staff member came twice to spray chemicals into the drain, but the problem was never resolved. Despite the severity of the issue, hotel management claimed they were fully booked and could not move us to another room. No guest should be expected to stay in a room that fails to meet basic sanitation and health standards. This property should be inspected and held accountable by the appropriate regulatory authorities for allowing such conditions to exist. This was, without question, one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I strongly advise travelers to consider other accommodations. G.Solorzano"

"First of all, the entire place has a weird smell similar to the one from a hostel I stayed at in Barcelona, where a hazing football team had their teammates vomit a mysterious liquid... Anyway, that was the smell that this place had, which makes me suspect it is not clean. Second, the wifi never worked. The breakfast is okay, and the breakfast room has nice views, but that's about the only praise I can give this hotel."
