A sleepy village with natural charm

Nestled in the foothills of Mount Skaros, the quaint fishing village of Nikiana is the ideal place to relax away from the crowds. On the east coast of Lefkada, Nikiana holidays are characterised by pristine beaches and laid-back rural charm. The village has a few tavernas along the beachfront, ideal for a lunchtime drink or a delicious dinner.

Although holidays to Nikiana can be quiet, its centrally located harbour has become a popular stop for private yachts. The shingle beach is a vision of unspoilt natural beauty, surrounded by olive groves and cypress trees. With views of mainland Greece, it’s also the perfect place to watch the sunset. The village is a convenient distance from the capital, Lefkada Town, and the popular town of Nidri where you’ll find several lively bars and clubs if you’re in the mood for some more upbeat nightlife.
