Holidays in

Family-friendly fishing village

Nidri holidays are rapidly becoming the most popular on the island of Lefkada – and for good reason. This scenic fishing village to the east of the island offers a rare combination of natural beauty, vibrant nightlife and small-town charm. It boasts a long stretch of pebbly beach with azure waters and views across the surrounding islets of Skorpios, Heloni and Sparti, which you can visit by boat.

In the evening, the town livens up with its array of bars and restaurants, but if you prefer something more atmospheric, then go for cocktails on the beach and watch the sun set against the silhouette of the neighbouring island of Meganisi. Holidays to Nidri come alive in summer when the harbour fills up with hundreds of boats, and if you’re a fan of yachting events, then visit in September to watch the annual Ionian Regatta.
