Beachfront luxury in Kardamena
The five-star Mitsis Norida is luxurious from the word go – from its idyllic location on one of Kos’ Blue Flag Beaches to its stylish interiors. You’ll feel as if you’ve landed in the pages of a glossy travel magazine. The architecture and the interiors are a perfect blend of the modern and the traditional, and the rooms are bright and cosy. Plus, six sparkling pools wind their way through the complex – one comes with a couple of slides and one is reserved for little ones.
When it comes to food, you’ve got the choice of four restaurants. The main restaurant is a buffet set-up serving around-the-world dishes and the rest are à la carte eateries – take your pick from the grill house, the Pan-Asian place, and the Greek seafood restaurant. Snacks are on offer from the beachfront pizza oven and the crêperie, and the grill house has a great brunch menu, too. You’ll also find seven bars and a tea corner dotted around the hotel’s grounds.
If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, you can get involved in games of beach volleyball, tennis and water polo. Aqua fit sessions take place in the pool, and you can even join gymnastics classes, or try out the outdoor gym for a workout. Little ones, meanwhile, will be kept busy at the kids’ club, which has a pool, an open-air cinema and a playground. While the children are busy, take some me time at the Sapphire Spa – it’s at the neighbouring hotel, the Mitsis Selection Blue Domes. Here, you’ll find a steam room, an indoor pool and a gym. You can also treat yourself to pampering treatments.
