Cabana Blu Hotel and Suites

"What an absolute fantastic weeks holiday the wife and I have just had, 19th to 26th October. The hotel was spotlessly clean with all the staff warm and welcoming every day. It was a pleasure to get to know them individually as they got to know us. Food was of the highest standards and presented very well. My only grievance is around paying for premium drinks (all inclusive) of which for the hotel rating there should have been more availability instead of the local spirits available. Also storage of clothing in the room could be better thought out. That being said we would like to thank Maria(and her husband), Nicoletta and Randi at the bar and Mikes in the dining area who all took time to make our stay very unique. We would also like to thank the staff behind the scenes e.g. who cook, clean and service the hotel, making our stay very enjoyable. Finally we would like to thank Vivi customer relations who is just a hive of information, going the extra mile for us when we needed her most. Well done and thank you to all."

"When you first arrive at Cabana blu the place does look very nice, and the staff are very lovely. It is very clean however the private pool we had that we shared with only 5 rooms i think was not cleaned once and it had lots of leaves blown into it. We was the out of season and to be honest we wasn’t using the pool, so not really a big deal. The room was lovely but as we were out of season the night was so cold there was no heating in the room and if there was it didn’t work as i tried to use the aircon to heat the room with no success. We ended up having to use the hairdryer lol i also found that everything in the room seemed damp like the ventilation was poor but this could have been my imagination. The hotel has 3 a la carte restaurants and to be honest they were very poor for choice and not really to my liking. For some reason although all inclusive we had to pay for our drinks while eating but as soon as we finished our food drinks were free again??? There was a snack bar but the food was extremely limited unless you wanted to pay for it. The main restaurant was again in my opinion very limited with the same food pretty much every breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks were not to bad with a nice choice of cocktails on the all inclusive. The entertainment was really non existent and if you wanted to watch sport or be entertained you would need to go into town. The location of the hotel was lovely with the beach 1 min away and shopping and bars all within walking distance. The pools at the hotel are not heated so if you wanted to use them you would need to come in the hight of summer otherwise they were like an ice bath. And not sire if its different in the summer months but the sun disappears behind the hotel so the pool is in the shade for the afternoon. The so called spa has a stream room and Suna thats it and its 30€ per person for 1 hour and the steam room was out of order. The gym was tiny with no windows very poor. Then to finish me off when you check out at 11am if you would like to use the extremely limited facilities you need to pay an extra 10€ per person for the privilege. All in all a very disappointing time Will be back to kardamaina Wont be back to Cabana blu hotel and spa"

"Great time had, we were given a free upgrade to a family room, food was amazing and the staff very friendly. We have been very lucky with the weather having sunshine everyday by the pool."
