"Lovely place to eat but very disappointing that the Panas Restaurant no longer serves Calamari. This is outrageous as, in our experience, it's always been the mainstay of most Greek restaurants. This said our party of 15 had a very pleasant meal at Panas and the food was excellent, the service very good and the prices very reasonable."

"I stayed at this hotel and overall the experience was very positive. The first thing that struck me was the impeccable cleanliness: in many trips to the Greek islands, I had never found such a high standard. Every day towels and sheets were changed and the room was always perfectly tidy. The decor is also well-kept and modern. Before booking, I had contacted the owner because, knowing that many rooms have the sink directly in the bedroom, I had expressly asked for accommodation with a more traditional bathroom, for the sake of privacy. Upon my arrival, I was initially assigned a room that did not meet this request. After pointing it out, the owner still took action to find a solution and allowed me to choose from the available rooms. Although it was a slightly smaller room with two single beds pushed together, it met my needs, so the problem was resolved with helpfulness. The breakfast area is also very beautiful with outdoor tables and a pleasant view of the sea. The pool is splendid, although personally I did not use it because I preferred to enjoy the island's beaches above all. The only aspect I feel like suggesting is to improve the breakfast: the savory part was quite varied, while the sweet part, closer to Italian tastes, was rather limited and repetitive, always the same few pastries every morning. It would be enough to introduce a little more variety to make the experience better. Furthermore, a brighter light in the bathroom would be useful, especially for those who need to put on makeup. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to those visiting Kefalonia: the location, cleanliness, tranquility, and care of the surroundings make it an excellent choice."
