Entree Hotel Glinde

"The hotel has seen better days. Nothing has probably happened in terms of either rehabilitation or refurbishment since the beginning of the 80s. We had a sofa in the room which was badly damaged. The carpets had old stains both here and there, and the walls long for new paint. Having said that, the rooms were clean, bed linen and towels impeccable. The breakfast was a bit sparse, but quite ok. the location is nice in terms of proximity to the autobahn, but otherwise there is little to do."

"Only stayed for one night as it was a layover between cities. The room was of good size, but that was the only positive thing I have to say. The bare minimum for a small hotel like this should be cleanliness, as it’s fair that not all facilities are modern. The linen was clean, but the rest of the room was filthy and stained. When I arrived and when I left, there were some guys loitering around and using the emergency staircase on the side of the building as a hang out. Not the most inviting scene and it was a bit uncomfortable being a woman traveling alone to see them hide around the corner whenever someone stepped out of a room or the elevator."

"If you want to get from A to Z with no hastle and all you care about is the goal, the place where you are going, what does it really matter where you sleep on the way there? This hotel met all our criteria: A) Close to the Autobahn B) Clean with good beds C) Nice restaurant with plenty choices of food. We thought we would just eat and go to sleep and then move on early next morning. But the food was really good and the beer was cold so why not just sit another hour and relax and enjoy? I can without any hesitation recommend this hotel for people on the move. Price? Oh yes, the most important factor. We paid 68 Euro for two people including breakfast! Very nice! "
