"Really nice hotel located close to a nice walking area along the lake and also to a street called Lange Reihe, which had every conceivable type of restaurant without being too upmarket. Also easy walking distance from the railway station even when pulling a suitcase. All in all was a good choice of hotel in Hamburg."

"A great location in St, Georg, no welcome at breakfast however. As we were due to arrive late evening, we’d booked to dine in the attached basement restaurant; the receptionist was anxious that we’d missed it; we had, due to flight delay. When she said we’d lost our reservation, we thought we’d lost our room, panic, but no just the restaurant booking, phew😊 Restaurant was good simple vegetarian Italian, nice wine Room was lovely. Garden lovely But no acknowledgement of presence at breakfast was unsettling .. The hostesses did warm up; we liked their dogs It has character"

"Spent 1 night at this hotel. We were greeted by friendly and helpful reception staff. We sat in lovely garden area behind the hotel and enjoyed a drink while the room was made ready. Fantastic service all around. Breakfast was good and plentiful and our room was a good size and on the rear of the hotel overlooking the garden. Room has a nespresso machine and complimentary water. Central station is a 10min walk and the lakes are just a 2min walk down the street. The hotel is dog friendly and you will likely find 2 friendly dogs roaming around the hotel."
