"We visited in November 2025 as a family of three adults. We had high hopes after seeing the photos and reviews but felt quite disappointed by the end. It was definitely a mixed bag with some pros and cons. On arrival, check in was good service and you were given a pager buzzer so you could go and sit down and wait for the buzz to head up to the reception desk and check in. The check in process was quick and easy and we were able to get into our rooms much before the usual 3pm time which was good. Reception staff were friendly.
The rooms were dated, quite small and very basic but did the job. There were complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, like a shoe shine kit and toothbrush/toothpaste sets which was a nice touch. The beds were comfy. It was definitely worth the upgrade we paid for a sea-view room as it was quiet compared to things we have heard about the street-facing rooms. The cleaning quality can be sporadic - one day the bed felt wet to the touch as if it had been sprayed with cleaning product rather than changed. Under the bed, we found a random brown paper bag with a sock in it - evidence of the lack of attention in cleaning. No double bed, however, it was just two singles pushed together and then a third bed in the corner. The room had a cabinet with a sink in it at the foot of a bed - seemed very random, unnecessary, and took up a lot of space. Disappointed with the lack of plug sockets, there were only two in the whole room and none by the bedside like you would usually expect.
You don't need to rush down for sunbeds. We put towels down at around 8.30am and there were still plenty left even when we returned from breakfast at around 9.15am. We are not in peak season though, so I suspect it would be busier in the summer. There were two decent sized pools that didn't get too busy or rowdy. However, the lifeguard couldn't look less interested if he tried, and was sat on his phone most of the time.
The poolside bar had nice, friendly staff and good service but there wasn't enough staff on shift at one time. Only one person serving at a time which can make service slow and queues long. A very good selection of branded alcohol spirits and other good options like cocktails, assorted fruit juices, iced tea, hot drinks, etc. If you choose to use the poolside snack bar, be prepared to wait to be served as - again - not enough staff available. The food is lovely though, good choice on the menu, and cooked fresh. You can't take food away which is a downside as it would have been nice to have a small snack on the sunbed in the afternoon. There is also a smaller poolside bar which we only used once but serves some different drinks like frozen cocktails.
The buffet restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Breakfast is good - freshly cooked eggs, omelettes, and pancakes. The usual selection of full English items and then nice pastries. Lunch is definitely the worst meal of the day in the buffet - not much choice and the same every day more or less. Dinner is the most hit and miss - sometimes good (their theme nights included Italian and BBQ) but other times it's just lunch leftovers and not much choice.
Was disappointed that we couldn't book in for the Italian a la carte restaurant as you have to be staying at least 7 nights (we were staying 5). At other hotels in Tenerife, we haven't had a problem doing this despite only staying the 5 days - at one hotel we were able to book in for two a la cartes in the 5 days.
The free WiFi was good in all areas of the hotel most of the time.
Entertainment is probably the worst part about this hotel. The acts were not great quality and we very often only watched 10/15 minutes and went to bed early. From early November, the entertainment also moves from the outside stage to the smaller indoor Imagine Bar - very hot, little air conditioning, and lots of people packed into one space. Not enough seating in there so lots of people having to stand throughout the entertainment. Again, the bar often only had one person serving which led to long queues in the evening.
Mike's Coffee Shop - very nice, a highlight of the stay. Freshly made smoothies, milkshakes, coffees, and a selection of cakes. This was part of the All Inclusive package which was a nice addition. Friendly staff, quick service. Definitely one of the best parts of the hotel.
On one day, they had a paella and sangria demonstration by the pool which was good. Friendly, engaging staff and you got a plate of paella and a chance to sample the freshly made sangria.
I think you are mostly paying for location as the hotel is right on the beachfront. It's less than a five minute walk to the beach and sea and lots of shops, restaurants, and bars along the seafront. Great location if the beach is something you are looking for.
Can't fault the friendliness and helpfulness of most of the staff. Everyone was lovely, especially the entertainment team throughout the day and evening."
