B&B Hotel Milano Aosta

"On my last night in Milan, I returned to my hotel room early to relax and discovered that new tenants had moved into the room next door. They were very noisy, laughing loudly, and several people were coming in and out frequently. The volume of the phone and TV remained at full volume until late into the night. The smell of cigarettes lingered in the room, making my last night at the hotel a difficult one."

"This hotel is all about the location. You are a stones throw from Milan Central Station. The Airport transfers come here, the Metro goes straight to Duomo. The centre is 10 mins away by Metro. The station area is apparently rife for pick pocketing. We travelled as 2 females, Mum and 14 year old teen. We felt quite safe arriving back at the hotel as you come out of the station and walk across the square to the hotel and you're there. The hotel is basic but clean. Our room was very small and dark and faced the back of the building. We also had the lift shaft literally in our room! - but we were here to sightsee so only spent about a few hours a day in the hotel, so not a huge problem. The rooms at the front looked nicer and bigger, but I expect may have been noisier facing the station and square outside. Our room was a little tired, but clean. It didn't look like any of the rooms I saw in the photos, but I am guessing they cost more. The breakfast room on the 8th floor has a great view. Breakfast was pleasant enough - eggs, pancakes, pastries, bread, yogurts etc. Had to ask a few times for things when they run out, not automatically replaced, but quickly provided. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay with a really convenient location to visit various locations in Milan. We travelled on a budget and this hotel fitted our budget, we got what we paid for."
