"This hotel and all the staff are amazing. from first arriving to leaving nothing is too much trouble. on arrival we were offered complimentary drinks whilst we waited to check in. once our rooms were allocated our bags were taken to our rooms whilst we finished our drinks. there is a lovely calm and welcoming atmosphere to the hotel. there is plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and you can order freshly cooked omelettes', toastie, pancakes, waffles. just ask and if it can be done they will do it. we got a breakfast to go on the final day as we were being picked up early. The hotel also offers free water, soft drinks, tea, coffee, wine and prosecco and snacks/pastries 24hrs a day, and if that's not enough they also put on extra foods at certain times. all this can be enjoyed on the terrace which we definitely took advantage of. the rooms were welcoming with a free mini bar of soft drinks, water sweets, nuts and crisps. there is also tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. the beds were very comfy and huge. the bathroom had plenty of room and toiletries. located about a 20min walk to the centre of Milan and about a 15 min walk to the train station. there is also plenty of bars and restaurant's on the door step (look on the back streets). Marvyn (I hope I have remembered correctly) was the lovely man on reception. he was so helpful giving us advice, maps, help with trains and places to go. nothing was too much trouble. there was a waiter in the breakfast room (sorry I didn't get your name) that was fun and friendly. I can not praise this hotel enough. all the staff are so friendly and helpful. i really do think its one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if I went back to Milan"

"This place is off the beaten path. Very charming hotel close to public transport. This hotel was not what I expected, but better. It wasn’t a mainstream type of hotel and was a refreshing change. We spent three nights in the hotel and we booked executive privileges. We had the buffet breakfast and happy hour. Staff were excellent! Room was clean and quiet. The manager was very friendly and helpful. We received an email regarding our upcoming train trip and he was able to translate for us and as a bonus, offered his advice as to how best to proceed. He saved us a lot of headache. The decor of the property is unique and this is what caught my attention. The food provided was excellent, there was no attached restaurant that I was aware of and I enjoyed the food and beverages. The hotel is situated between two Metro stations, Porta Venezia (the closer) and Repubblica. Both will take you to the Duomo. I feel that this hotel is very good value for the money, the location great and only a €10 cab ride from the train station. I would recommend this hotel!"

"Brilliant hotel & brilliant concept I booked this hotel as a suprise for a birthday. The hotel staff had such a lovely welcome and had upgraded our room and decorated it with balloons and had a beautiful cake in the fridge. I couldn't have asked for more. Drinks and snacks were free and were available near the reception and you could help yourself whenever, this was a fantastic perk for a B&B. When we would leave for the long day of sightseeing we would grab bottles of water and some crisps/fruit. We would have a large lunch when out sightseeing and then come back to the hotel for free drinks (beer/wine/coke/Fanta) and free hors d'oeuvres. It's was perfect, after walking all day it was lovely knowing you could go back to the hotel and everything you want was there. Thank you so so much AXYHOTELS In style Milano you made our trip!"
