"Stayed for the Commonwealth Games but told by male receptionist that although we had paid extra for early check in (which Premier Inn terms and conditions state you are entitled to get your room at 11am) that there wasn’t a room available. Receptionist was rude, intimidating, making false accusations, a rather frightening experience. On a positive note, house keeping should be proud of their staff, room was immaculate"

"We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our visit to experience the Commonwealth Games Swimming events at Tollcross Leisure Centre. Understanding that there was no air conditioning at this location, even though the day time outside temperature was 16c, the temperature inside the room fluctuated from 26c - 28c. A fan was available and windows were kept open. The room itself was clean although small however as a base, it was convenient. The staff didn’t go out of their way to be inviting and more often than not, the reception was left unattended. There is refurbishment taking place so hopefully air conditioning will be included in the upgrade plans. We paid an exceptional amount for this stay which was obviously due to the inflated price of rooms due to the Commonwealth Games however in usual circumstances, I wouldn’t pay more than £50.00 per night."
