"Great atmosphere, very clean, staff were helpful and welcoming. We got a free welcoming cocktail on arrival which helped get us in the Metallica gig mood, much appreciated! Room was really spacious and a separate annex for our two boys with separate televisions which was great! Bathroom huge and the whole space felt luxurious also very quiet at night so no disturbances. There was a free table football and pay as you play pool table which is great fun. The lounge area really comfortable and cosy so you feel like you have your own space. Local Sainsbury’s only 5 mins walk away and about 20 mins walk from train station. Breakfast really nice with big selection from fruit and yogurt to cheese to pancakes and full cooked so something for everyone. Lockers to store suitcases for the day on checkout day making our last day much easier. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Moxy."

"Stayed at this hotel for one night for the Barry Manilow concert, no problems with the room or the food but very disappointed with the customer service at the reception desk on the morning we left. We asked the receptionist if she could book us a taxi to go to Glasgow Central and she informed us we had to get the bus and gave directions to the bus stop we didn't realize it was quite a walk and had to flag down a taxi as I have walking difficulties. I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the receptionist as such a simple request to book a taxi was ignored and would stop me from staying at this hotel again."
