"I have raised this particular issue with manager Angus and I do hope he will resolve this for future guests - staff openly standing at the bar and swearing, alongside with slagging the customers that are coming in and out, so here is you, an invisible customer is listening to it all and realising that once I finished my food that is overpriced they will probably talk about me.
I have dinned on 10 occasions, not a single time was I asked if I had any allergies (thankfully I don’t). Restaurant staff is paying no attention, presents themselves unprofessional. I had found hair in my food and I raised that with restaurant supervisor. Food waiting time is long even when there is no one there. Every time I had to pay at the bar, no one had came over to present bill. 10 times I was paying and 10 times I had to mention that I have membership that qualifies for a discount, the staff would re issue the receipt just for me to tell them that is should be billed to the room, all of that could have been made much faster and pleasant if they would have been trained to ask questions - do you have membership card? Do you want it billed to the room or pay? No, staff blindly assumes and do whatever they want to do. Terrible service.
The only thing that’s Royal about this place is prices in restaurant. Jokes aside, I had to stay here for 10 days and the only good thing that I experienced is the morning breakfast staff, especially the gentleman who works from Monday to Thursday I believe that goes on his walks that stands and greets you! Other than that, the stay wasn’t the best.
The room cleannesses raises eyebrows, I found a screw, plastic wrap and fluff all over the room, one day they will refill your teas and coffees, the other they won’t. That’s a guessing game for guests to play to make stay more fun."
