"We booked this property through Booking.com and were very disappointed with our stay. The listing mentions “plenty of street parking,” but fails to make clear that it is metered parking limited to three hours. While parking is free between 6pm and 8am, breakfast (if you choose to have it) isn’t served until 8:30am. This means you have to leave first thing in the morning to find your car and pay for additional parking before you can even eat. On arrival, we were given very little information. The only thing explained was the need to take £1 from my card “in case you trash the room.” While this may be buried in the small print, in my experience most places don’t actually enforce this, and the way it was presented was not particularly welcoming. Our “quadruple room” turned out to be two separate rooms located across the road and in the cellar. One room was very small with two single beds, while the other had two singles, a bathroom, and a TV. The TV reception was extremely poor. Both rooms were very dated and tired. If you’ve ever stayed in a cheap B&B in Blackpool, you’ll know the sort of décor and condition I’m referring to. To put things into perspective, we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Inverness the night before, which was far superior in every way: cleaner, better managed, more comfortable, and it included a free breakfast — all for around £50. This place cost approximately £160 for the night and didn’t even include breakfast. If we had chosen breakfast, we were told it would be served across the road in a separate establishment, which apparently is their normal arrangement. This was my first visit to Glasgow, and while I would like to return to the city, I will certainly be giving this accommodation a very wide berth in the future. The only positive I can find is that it is a reasonably central location for shopping, sightseeing, etc., but this is literally the only redeeming feature of the place."

"Great value for money. Staff helpful. Great location for Ibrox stadium,half hour walk or 10 min taxi ride. Rooms spotless and comfortable, breakfast was lovely. No complaints at all."
