Village Hotel Edinburgh

"The room was horrendous like it was a portacabin stuck on top of another portacabin, very small, sockets on one side of the room, terribly small area around the bed and in the bathroom, terrible bed and pillows and horrendous wind noise from the window. The bar and grill was grossly overpriced for microwave rubbish food and we actually cut the break short by 1 whole day as we hadn’t had any sleep for 2 nights. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had "

"Ample Parking, lovely room and nice staff. We as a family always like staying hear if coming down from Aberdeen as it's easy to find. Regular buses get you into town for £2.20 one way and only takes about 10/15mins."

"There was a long line at check in qnd had to wait over 10mins. There was no cot in our room, as had been requested, resulting in another long wait at reception! Then another wait to get into the pool!! Breakfast was poor with lots of things running out, dirty floor and overcooked hot food. Sausages were inedible. Room was fine other than sick was blocked."
