The Glasshouse Autograph Collection hotels

"You have a treasure at your front door and by that I mean David He helped my friend and I with everything we needed always had an answer, recommended some of the best restaurants, gave us directions around town he is amazing. this hotel is very lucky to have him. Don't let him go!!"

"It seems like this hotel does not belong in the Autograph collection. We've had two extraordinary experiences in Chicago and Tokyo with the Marriott Autograph brand and had been expecting the same level of refinement and decor as those two hotels. The location is excellent, the front of the hotel is quite striking with the historical facade retained. Unfortunately, that is where any historical character ends. The hotel wraps around an entertainment complex which makes for some very long walks to get to rooms on the far side of the hotel. The rooms are a generous size but seem very bland and under-furnished. Our huge room had no drawers for clothing, a single closet, a table that looked like it belonged on a patio and 3 uncomfortable banquet hall chairs. It was great where it counted - the bed and bedding were excellent. It seems that perhaps our room was an accessible room as the shower had a zero threshold but that just meant the water flooded the room. The staff were excellent with a particular call out to Isaac, the concierge, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Back to the long walk - because of the geography of the site, you enter at ground and must travel to 3 to access all room levels. We were located on 1 and after a VERY long walk, had to go through 2 nasty fire exits to access the lift to the 1st level. This hotel really needs a re-think - Levels 1 and 2 should be scrapped or converted to apartment/hotels with independent access. Level 3 is lovely with the cozy lounge and bar but all the rooms need a serious upgrade in their decor standards for this hotel to be considered equivalent to other Autograph locations."

"First time staying here, will definitely not be the last. From check-in it to checkout our experience was wonderful! David B greeted us in the most wonderful and welcoming way, reception staff (there were 4 in total) that we engaged with throughout our stay and the staff at breakfast were friendly, engaging and really made us feel valued. The room was spacious, beautiful and very comfortable. Thank you for our wonderful stay."
