Macdonald Holyrood Hotel

"We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4 in two rooms. This hotel is in a great location a few mins from the Kings Mile, good parking facility and spacious rooms. Staff are friendly and courteous and helped with several of our asks. It however felt a bit short staffed and was unable to cater to some basics. The lounge was poorly kept and did not have any staff to take orders. Even though we notified a week in advance of our arrival, we did not get rooms to check in until 5pm(we arrived at 8 am). We had to present options ourselves to problem solve instead of proactive trouble shooting."

"I want to start by thanking everyone at the hotel who made my holiday special and what a way to celebrate my birthday but in style .I thought the room was bigger than I had intisapated.bed was big and comfortable.i also liked the bathroom with the walk in shower. Then the choice of food at breakfast was big variety.and the restaurant in the hotel was good maybe could do with more choice otherwise agreat experience.thanks to the reception team for your professionalism and kindness and respect you gave.to finish I recommend this hotel and hope to return some time my sincere thanks Paul crocker"
