Indigo Edinburgh Princes Street

"Great location and really friendly and helpful staff. Our room was small and over heated but opening a window wasn’t a good idea as (a) building work through the night (b) the smell of the kitchens on the back alley (c) the noise of bottle bins. But eventually we were able to get the thermostat down to a more comfortable temperature. The hotel is lovely but the bedside tables have draws but they don’t open. The TV isn’t smart so you can’t stream. The complimentary mini-bar snacks and drinks were most welcomed. The bed was very comfy but I would have preferred a smaller bed or a bigger room. But great location!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo on Prices Street. It is in a great location, across the bridge from the Royal Mile, and an easy walk to the bus station if you are taking a tour that departs from there. Also right across the street from Waverly Train Station, which was very convenient. We were in a Premium King room, and it was HUGE. I'm used to small rooms in the UK, and was pleasantly surprised by the size of this one! Superking bed was lovely, and the bathroom was a decent size with nice toiletries. No shower curtain, just a half glass wall so the floor got a bit wet, but we experienced that in every hotel we stayed in. Breakfast was our favorite of our entire trip. If you eat in the restaurant, the views and ambiance are amazing. In-room breakfast the morning we had a tour arrived right on time and exactly what we requested. Only negative was out of their control; our room faced the alley where they apparently dump the glass bottles. We had a loud clatter every few hours sound just outside our window. Only really bothered me when the window was open, but something to be aware of depending on room location. All the staff we encountered were lovely, from the front desk to the bartender and housekeeping. Would 100% recommend Indigo for a stay in Edinburgh!"

"Perfect location, it is located in front of the station and a few steps from the old town. Spacious and quiet room with a nice bathroom and equipped with all the comforts including a safe, minibar (with water bottles refilled for free every day), and air conditioning. The view from the window of the old town and Princes Street was wonderful. Good breakfast, served in a beautiful room that also has a view of the city. Recommended hotel."
