The Holiday Inn Edinburgh is positioned about five kilometres west of the city centre, and makes a great base for a city break in the Scottish capital.

You’ll no doubt want to experience the sights of Edinburgh’s historic centre, including Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile – or perhaps you fancy making the walk up Arthur’s Seat for the best views overlooking the city? With bus stops just a few steps away, getting around via public transport is a breeze. It’ll take around 20 minutes or so to get from the hotel into the centre. 

After a day of sightseeing, why not take a dip in the hotel’s indoor pool or unwind in the sauna? There’s also a fully equipped gym if you’ve still got energy to burn and feel like a workout.

Tuck into a hearty buffet breakfast at the Traders restaurant in the mornings to set yourself up for a day of exploring. Later on, feel free to stop by the lobby bar for a casual drink or two. There’s also a lunch and dinner menu available should you fancy eating in.
