"What a wonderful time we had onboard Fingal. From start to finish our stay was exquisite. We stayed for a special occasion with our 2 teenage daughters in 2 rooms. If you are looking for the perfect boutique hotel for your stay in Edinburgh then look no further. We loved the thoughtful interior and decoration that was in perfect keeping with the nautical setting. From the moment we were greeted with the offer of a glass of fizz, to opening our rooms that were beautifully decorated perfectly laid out, spacious and atmospheric. Everything worked well, even down to the nautical themed bathrooms. The owners have obviously put a lot of thought into the interiors onboard. We loved the cork, walnut and rigging design, perfectly in keeping with the vessel’s history. Go and check out the machinery space (engine room) while onboard - well worth a look. We didn’t evening dine in the restaurant, (though we WILL sometime soon) but if the breakfasts are anything to go by, (probably the best we’ve experienced!) lunch or evening dining would be a fine experience. The cocktails were top class and the personal service was excellent. Thank you Aaron for your impeccable friendly and attentive service. Most importantly, ALL of the staff made us feel very special, and we can’t thank them enough for our unforgettable stay. Your attention to detail and the highest customer service was very much appreciated. 110% recommended!"

"What an incredible experience, staying on The Fingal was pure luxury. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and the rooms were incredible. Highly recommend having drinks on the top deck on an evening. Great location to Edinburgh city centre with the tram stop right outside and free parking! Thank you so much for looking after us and we will be back again!"
