"Very impressed. Yes as some of the reviews stated this is a basic hotel and the beds are a little small but for a 2 night stay it was perfect. The continental breakfast was perfectly adequate and we always had room to sit in the kitchen. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful (with the young lady who checked us in giving us complimentary late checkout as it was my Birthday the following day). Good location and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a perfect stay."

"Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Perfect location. Although the heating didn't work in the room, it was warm enough. When l mentioned it at reception we were given a heater. The room was clean and shower worked perfectly. Breakfast was lovely, continental but plenty of choice. We would definitely stay here again. Think it cost around £70 for the night which l think is fantastic value for the location. There was some really noisy guests staying very close to us but they got their early morning call from us the next morning. Think its just right that we paid back the favour. I'm sure if we had complained then the lovely staff would have sorted them out. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone."

"We only spent two nights at the Quarter but we enjoyed the hotel and it completely fulfilled our needs. Location couldn't be better -- close walk to restaurants and pubs. Only 20-min walk to the central train station, and a 10-min to the bus stop for the express bus to the airport. Rooms were small but quite adequate for two people. Very clean, windows opened, there was a fan provided which was appreciated overnight. Our room overlooked a park and beautiful church. Staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is provided but we only were able to use it once due to early morning departure to the airport the second morning. The first morning, we just grabbed some scones and cheese and fruit, etc, from the kitchen on the first floor at 7:00 am and ate on the go (as we were catching a tour). I can see how the breakfast rooms would feel a bit cramped if you planned to sit and have coffee and toast. We'd stay again!"
