Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre

"We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Manchester in September 2026 for a special weekend away to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday, and we had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. I originally booked our stay through Booking.com, but contacted the hotel directly beforehand as I wanted to arrange a few birthday extras for our room, such as balloons and a bottle of Prosecco. I dealt with the Guest Relations Manager, Amal, who was absolutely lovely. She was so pleasant, helpful and accommodating, and provided me with a brochure showing all the different extras available so I could choose exactly what I wanted. I opted for a selection of balloons and a bottle of Prosecco, and I thought the prices were very reasonable. Amal also went above and beyond for us. As I had booked through Booking.com, our preferred room configuration wasn’t guaranteed, but she kindly arranged a complimentary room upgrade so that we could have two double beds. This was such a lovely and generous thing to do and was really appreciated. When we arrived and my daughter walked into the room and saw everything set up for her birthday, her face absolutely lit up! It made the start of our weekend so special and created a lovely memory for her 18th birthday. The hotel itself is stunning and absolutely spotless. From the moment we arrived, all of the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. Our room was beautiful, spacious and had everything we needed and more. We were provided with robes and slippers, as well as tea, coffee, hot chocolate and complimentary biscuits. The heating and air conditioning worked perfectly, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the entire room was immaculate. Breakfast was another highlight. It runs until 11am, which was perfect for a relaxing weekend away, and there was a fantastic buffet selection with plenty of both hot and cold options. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better hotel for such a special occasion. A huge thank you to Amal and the rest of the team for helping make my daughter’s 18th birthday weekend so memorable. I would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Manchester. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"Location for this hotel is spot on. Right in the centre within walking distance of Manchester Victoria, The Arndale and Deansgate. The atmosphere is good, the staff are friendly and attentive, but the rooms need some attention in terms of maintenance of the TVs and telephones. We had our room changed and the staff were very apologetic, the value is good and it is obvious that the rooms are serviced regularly."
