Good concept, but room conditions need improvement

"We stayed here for 3 nights and unfortunately our experience wasn’t great. I’m not someone who usually complains, but we had several issues during our stay. Check-in was easy and the reception staff were friendly. Our first room looked clean but had a constant noise (like machinery) that made it impossible for me to sleep, so we were moved to another room. The second room had a very strong sewer/drain smell. We informed reception in the morning and were told the room would be cleaned while we were out. However, when we returned that evening the smell was still there and the room clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned — the bed wasn’t made, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, and even a small bug I had noticed in the sink when we arrived was still there (I took a photo). We had to change rooms again that night. Thankfully the third room was finally fine, but having to move rooms multiple times during a short stay was very frustrating. The underground concept sounded interesting and the location is great, but between the noise, sewer smell, and very strong perfume diffusers in the corridors, the overall experience was disappointing. I hope the hotel management improves the room conditions because the concept and location have a lot of potential. You might get a good room, but it seems a bit of a gamble."

"10 out of ten for location Communial area great lots of clean spaces to sit and relax but man the tube vibration was too much I am not sure what the other rooms were like but I had a room to the right of the reception and barely had any sleep then to add to the matters of you used the bathroom (Toilet, Sink, Shower) moments after the system Let out a high pitched wail now this along with the tube rumble left me with little to no sleep, the staff are amazing I didn’t complain to them as they were great on arrival and whilst I was relaxing."

"Have stayed at the hotel once previously and had realistic expectations- aware the room was small and wasn’t expecting much. The aircon in the room was incredibly poor - despite being set the maximum the room was warm and stuffy. Reported this to reception and a staff member went to our room however, this remained poor. The AC was not broken but just of very poor quality- this is essential given the rooms have no windows. There was also an intermittent smell of drains coming from the bathroom. Noticable upon re entering the room given there was no ventilation. Overall opted for a cheap option with realistic expectations however, would not stay again."
